The Good Earth

Dust Jacket is rare. The first printing has flees for fleas on page 100, line 17. The first printing also says "For The John Day Publishing Company, Inc." on copyright page. The first printing consisted of 9,475 copies; The first 2,700 copies issued had the top edges stained brown; the remaining were stained green. The brown top edge is more preferable. Dust jacket is rare and adds most of the value to the book.

The Good Earth won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. This book is also an Oprah's Book Club selection.
